From Mr. Peaceable Paints: "Once, long ago,
there was a little town growing up on a hill beside the sea. A town called Eagle's
Landing. And when the wind blew in from the water, there was a smell of salt and fish. And
when the wind blew from the west across the hill there was the smell of farms and of wood
smoke rising from the chimneys." |

"And at the sign with the shapes of the sun and the moon and stars, all was
always well. For this was the shop of the painter and decorator of coaches and
carriages." |
